Baking the perfect pound cake

Set your oven temp to 325.


Cream the sugar and butter till light and fluffy.


Mix flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl.


Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg, then add your extracts.


Put half of your flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix well, then add your half of your sour cream. Mix well. Put in the last of the flour mixture, mix and then add the last sour cream. Mix.


Grease and flour a bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Pour cake into it. Shake it so that its even. Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. About 50 minutes.


Ingredients


2 sticks of butter


3 cups of sugar


6 Eggs


1 cup of Sour Cream, Buttermilk<, use Baking Soda or Heavy Cream<, use Baking Powder (I had Baking Powder, so I used that)


1 tsp vanilla extract


1 tsp pure almond extract


3 cups of All purpose Flour


1 Tsp salt


1 Tsp Baking Powder or Baking soda (based on what dairy you used)
